Municipal Inspection Authority is The City’s building services contractor. Building Services provided by Municipal Inspection Authority include: permit issuance, building permit inspections, and plan review services. Please see our Permits and Applications page for all required permit forms. Permit applications may be mailed to the office, sent via email, permits@cityofnewbuffalomi.gov, or dropped off at City Hall during business hours. Permits must be obtained before beginning any construction, remodeling, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or signage work.  For a list of work not requiring a permit please consult: Mich. Admin.
