City Treasurer

The City Treasurer is the financial officer of the City and is responsible for all money received, spent and invested by the City.

Duties include:

• Developing and administering the annual budget
• Collection and disbursement of property taxes
• Financial planning and administration of capital improvement projects
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable and utility billing
• Audit preparation

The City of New Buffalo's fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th.
